We are currently seeking applications to join our OpenMaker Advisory Board. In line with the objectives of the OpenMaker initiative, we are looking to build an independent Advisory Board of individuals with an array of backgrounds and skills that will add valuable insight and support throughout the growth of the project.
We hope to include a diverse mixture of individuals, who are excited to take on a number of roles, including:
- High level advisors providing recommendations on OpenMaker developments or innovations and participating in the Project Board meetings to discuss exploitation approaches and best practices;
- Active observers notifying of new initiatives and making suggestions related to the project’s activities, communities and network;
- Project ambassadors sharing information about project’s activities and outcomes, with their networks or during relevant events thus multiplying the project’s dissemination efforts; and
- Jury member selecting the 20 projects to be funded under the Piloting Support Scheme (each appointed member of the Advisory Board will have to assess up to 5 projects).
Full terms of reference for the role can be found here.
If this role is of interest to you or someone you know, please get in touch by emailing the Project Manager Xavier Sandin.
Deadline for applications is 15 June 2017.
Upon completion of the selection, candidates will be informed about the outcome of appointments by the Chair of OpenMaker Project Board by the 1st July 2017.
